May The Fourth Be With You! Again!

Last year, the Templin Institute released a reimagining of the First Order and the New Republic from the Star Wars sequel trilogy. The reaction to our reimagined series is still overwhelming, and now one year later, it seems appropriate bring our own trilogy to its conclusion.

Tomorrow we’ll be reimagining what the war between the First Order and the New Republic might have been like, but you don’t need to wait until then to see their forces clashing to decide the fate of the galaxy. We are proud to have again commissioned our friend Joan Piqué Llorens, The Templin Institute’s “Artist in Residence” to bring to life some concepts and ideas that never made it onto the screen. It incorporates elements from our previous two videos, and finally answers the question of what might happen if the two behemoths of the galaxy finally met in open conflict.

“The battle between the New Republic Star Defender “Scarif” and the First Order Star Dreadnoughts “Inflexible” and “Indomitable” was the pivotal drama of the Miracle at Mon Gazza. In a single pass and a double broadside, the Scarif left the Inflexible adrift and shattered the myth of First Order Invincibility.“

We’re proud to release this artwork for all personnel in HD resolution, but if you’d like to get your hands on the 4k sized variant, you’ll find it over on our Patreon.
